Awards

Half Marathon:

  • Top 3 Overall male, female and non binary. The top three males and females are NOT eligible for age-group or Master's awards.
  • Top Masters (40+) and Grand Master (50+) male and female.  The top Master male and female are NOT eligible for age-group awards.
  • Top 3 (both male and female) in both the 12-15 and 16-19 age categories
  • Top 3 (both male and female) at five-year increments beginning at age 20 to age 75+
  • Distribution of awards will occur 15 minutes after each award category has been certified
  • All finishers will receive a Fayetteville Half Marathon finisher medal with customized ribbon.

10K:

  • Top 3 Overall male, female and non binary. The top three males and females are NOT eligible for age-group or Master's awards.
  • The overall Masters (40+) and Grand Master (50+) male and female.  The top Master male and female are NOT eligible for age-group awards.
  • Top 3 (both male and female) at five-year increments beginning at age 10 through 75+
  • Distribution of awards will occur 15 minutes after each award category has been certified
  • All finishers will receive a Fayetteville 10K finisher medal with customized ribbon.

5K:

  • Top 3 Overall male, female and non binary. The top three males and females are NOT eligible for age-group or Master's awards.
  • The overall Masters (40+) and Grand Master (50+) male and female.  The top Master male and female are NOT eligible for age-group awards.
  • Top 3 (both male and female) at five-year increments beginning at age 6 through 75+
  • Distribution of awards will occur 15 minutes after each award category has been certified
  • All finishers will receive a Fayetteville 5K finisher medal with customized ribbon.

Fun Run - All finishers will receive a custom finisher medal.

**Note:  Challenge/Virtual categories are not eligible for awards.

TIMING / COURSE CUTOFF TIMES:

  • Half Marathon (13.1 miles). The course must be completed in 4 hours (18-minute pace) or a participant must be willing to be self-supported and obey all traffic rules and regulations if the streets have opened for traffic. *Note - the final few miles are on a paved trail system which allows for a protected finish for those who are at the 18-minute or slower pace. 
  • 10K (6.2 miles). No specific time limit other than what is listed above, but a person should be comfortable with a 18-minute per mile pace.
  • 5K (3.1 miles).  same as the 10K
  • Race number and timing chips will be issued and are required to participate.  Please have running bib# visible on the front of your body so marshals and emergency personnel can identify you as part of the event.
