Training Plan
The 2024 Training Plan is completely FREE and we are welcoming all levels of runners to register for the training plan. This plan is open to half marathon, 10K and 5K runners...even those who've not registered for the race! This online training program will include weekly written plans to include running and strength training.
Program begins Sep 16 and final date to register is Oct 21. There will also be an in-person weekly speed workout which starts on Thursday, September 19, 6pm at Flyway Brewing - 1550 E Zion Rd, Fayetteville, AR 72703. Look for the Fayetteville Half Marathon tent. This will be a great time to come hang out with your fellow training partners and ask questions of the coaches.

Patty Pittman:
Patty Pittman is the founder of F2E Coaching, a multisport training company based in Fayetteville, AR, that serves athletes globally. As an experienced endurance coach, Patty holds certifications as a USA Triathlon Coach and UESCA Run and Triathlon Coach. Her extensive credentials also include certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC).
With over 21 years of experience as a strength and endurance coach, Patty has worked with hundreds of endurance athletes, from beginners to advanced competitors, in both in person and online settings. As an accomplished endurance athlete herself, Patty has a passion for racing, particularly at the ultra-distance. Her firsthand experience, education, and commitment to the sport are reflected in her coaching, where she guided her athletes to excel in their training and racing.
Paige Johnston Heffron:
Paige was a cross country and track runner for the Razorbacks from 2009-2014. She helped the team to many SEC titles and was an encouraging leader. After graduating from college, she was honored to become a guide runner for a blind runner at West Fork High School for three years. She then went on to help coach cross country & track at Springdale High School. She was a strong motivator for the young athletes, helping them with their technique, race strategy & speed. She is still an avid runner to this day, logging miles all around Fayetteville.
